Soccer - 2025-2026 Travel

Welcome to Elizabethtown United.

Once your child has aged out of our U8 IM program, they will either be chosen from the tryout / evaluation process for our Travel league or would choose our LARS Recreational (per season) teams. You might also have a player that has played Rec seasons, and now realizing they love soccer. If your player is passionate about soccer, we recommend our Travel league.

Here is a little information about our Travel league.

Travel Teams (U9-U19) will play in the Central PA Youth Soccer League (CPYSL),
Travel teams are grouped yearly by age: U9, U10, U11, U12, etc.
Travel league does hold tryout for each age level starting with U9 up to U16.
CPYSL offers a more diverse level of play, teams are placed within a division for their age group.
Travel league players are required to purchase a uniform.
All CPYSL teams are Central PA counties (mainly Lancaster, Lebanon, Dauphin, York)
Travel time to the games could be 20-40 minutes (on average)
Travel teams practice 2 days a week for 1.5 hours each practice
Games on Saturdays (U13 and older will play on Sundays in the Fall only)
Travel league is a full year commitment to play both Fall and Spring seasons; winter indoor session is coach preference and at an extra cost.
Players are still able to participate in other sports as long as parents (and players) are able to keep up with both schedules.
Travel teams will take place in tournaments throughout the season. U9-U13 recommendation is at least 1 tournament (fee not included in season cost)
For U14 through U19 levels, There can be a couple options - players can still participate on a team for league play in the fall even if the play school ball, players would just go to game on Sunday; then same team would continue in spring. Or it can be a Spring season only league team or a tournament team.

After evaluations are complete, we will let you know if your child has made the CPYSL Travel team. If the player does not make the Travel team, we would encourage to sign up for the LARS Recreational league to further develop skills for future years.

Travel tryouts / evaluations are free. Registration costs shown are only charged if you make the team and accept the offer to play with the team.
