NOTE: What is the difference between the Etown United Programs that are offered? (CPYSL and LARS)
CPYSL
- One-year, Fall and Spring commitment. Winter leagues are optional, based on coaches preference
- Games played within the Central PA area (average 30-45 miles; could be up to 90 miles from Etown)
- Slightly higher costs compared to LARS (Varies by age group)
- Single year age divisions – ie. U9, U10, U11
- Players will be provided a “Players Card” by the league with birth certificate verification
- Teams compete at the highest level/division that their team is able to participate in
- Uniform purchase separate fee: blue jersey, white jersey, blue shorts, blue socks, white socks
- 1 Tournament per season is suggested, additional may be added at coaches preference
LARS
- Similar time and travel commitments to CPYSL
- Ideal for new, less experienced, and developing players
- Lower costs compared to CPYSL
- Single season commitment
- Two year age divisions – ie. U10, U12, U15
- When there are multiple teams in an age group, teams are built to be equally matched
- Uniform purchase separate fee – blue jersey, blue shorts, blue socks
- Typically participate in end of year tournament day, extra small fee per player
